Elysia Cerreta-Dial, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C, PMHNP-BC, AAHIVS , (She/Her)

Dual-Certified Nurse Practitioner  

 Elysia Cerreta-Dial is a dual-certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with extensive experience in adult-geriatric and psychiatric mental health care. She is deeply committed to providing inclusive, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of every patient.  

 

Elysia began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Central Connecticut State University, followed by an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She launched her nursing career in 2010 at Midstate Medical Center, where she provided post-operative and oncology care.  

 

In 2017, she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University and became certified as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Her early work at Staywell Health Center focused on chronic disease management, and in 2018, she joined Health Care Advocates International to serve the LGBTQ+ community more directly.  

 

Elysia holds AAHIVS certification through the American Academy of HIV Medicine, demonstrating her expertise in HIV prevention and management, including Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and long-term HIV/AIDS care. Recognizing the growing need for accessible behavioral health services, she pursued a post-Master’s certificate from Johns Hopkins University in 2022 to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  

 

Elysia’s clinical philosophy is rooted in the holistic health model—addressing the physical, emotional, and social dimensions of wellness. She strives to provide inclusive, affirming, and evidence-based care that meets the diverse needs of every patient she serves.  

 

She is currently licensed to practice in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Delaware, Hawaii, Florida, and New York.
