Registered Nurse
Laura Snyder brings over 15 years of nursing experience to the HCAI team, with a career rooted in compassionate care and clinical excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Quinnipiac University in 2009 with an undergrade Degree in Health Sciences. She began her journey at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport and soon transitioned to Yale New Haven Hospital, where she worked inpatient care before advancing to nursing management. Most recently, Laura served as the practice nurse for an oncology ambulatory clinic, where she played a key role in administering cutting-edge clinical trials.
Laura’s passion for nursing stems from the meaningful relationships she builds with patients and the opportunity to make a difference in their lives every day. She is thrilled to be part of the HCAI team, where she and her fellow caregivers serve the LGBTQ+ community with empathy, expertise, and dedication.
In addition to her clinical background, Laura is certified in administering Botox for both cosmetic and medical purposes, having completed training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in New York City. Whether helping patients reduce fine lines, manage migraines, or relieve TMJ pain, she finds joy in helping others feel and look their best.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and their two young daughters. Together, they are committed to raising their children in a world that celebrates love, acceptance, and authenticity.
